The guys are buying into what we're trying to do. They don't care who's carrying the ball or whose in there on defense. And we didn't turn the ball over but once, unlike last week. That was the key for us.

I'm just appreciative they let us come down here and play. We needed to play.

We're a whole lot better than we were last week.

We did not play as well as we would have liked and our players had some problems adjusting to the smaller field, but we are happy to come out with a win.

The word 'flu' is always dangerous. So I figured I'd see what it was all about.

It's a disappointing loss, but give Pitt a lot of credit. They fought back and played hard. At the same time, it's hard to play a man down, especially for that long. Pitt scored some good goals, but we have to play better defense. When you're up 3-0 and 4-2, you need to find ways to win the game.

When will it ever be enough? ... When you ever say no?

We had a sophomore at quarterback start, we backed him up with a ninth-grade quarterback. I'm real proud of both of 'em. We're going to come back Monday and try to get better.

We get that first down there, I feel like we're in good shape. They made a big stop.
