I was in Frank's office, and we were going over all the Reds' hitters.

When teams bang him around like they did tonight, it's surprising. But everyone's allowed a speed bump every once in a while.

Everything was as good as it could possibly be. Everything he's done up to this point pales in comparison.

I think it provides an unfair advantage to the hitters.

Not to name names.

The lack of experience I think can be overrated, ... Speaking specifically of Girardi, this is a guy that caught and played for a variety of managers at the major league level and sat at the right hand of Joe Torre. I think the experiences that he's had lend themselves well to taking that manager's seat (for the Marlins).

But as a staff, we were able to spend more time on a few more things.

It wasn't that difficult for me because I had such a veteran team.

I'm pretty sure Tony has already been ejected from this ballgame.
