Washington had as good of athletes defending him as we've seen all year. They really tried to make things difficult for him.

We're anxious to accept the challenge this time.

Coach Everhart said he would start the process for us. Duquesne was very understanding. They still wanted Steve, but we just weren't completely comfortable with the situation. We thought it would be best to look at other options.

After the 'T,' we were right back. We needed to score on that (next) possession. When they came back and made a run, that burst the bubble right there. We didn't have enough to make another run.

I think that was the biggest shot of the game. It got him going. He hadn't played in a week because of the high ankle sprain.

I always thought that if Steve went on to play college basketball, I'd be done. I'd like to have the freedom in my schedule to go and watch him play. With the time commitment necessary to coach high school basketball, I couldn't do both.

We're certainly still very interested in Duquesne.

Beaver Falls just has so much depth and I do think that was a factor, especially as the game wore on. They have more athletes and better athletes and they just kept running them at us. I thought we got a little tired.

Steve got some good looks. He just didn't shoot the way he usually does.
