Valley's coach told me they beat Russell County by only a few points last week, and Russell County beat BTW pretty bad a couple of weeks ago. If we can win this game, it would give us an advantage in the area race.
It's a loose atmosphere. They set the tone. My teaching style [in this program] is more personal and less structured.
We've got a little more than a week to get better, because the area tournament is going to be a war.
It is natural that some of the topless dancers that were arrested will make ridiculous claims to deflect attention from their illegal activities.
It was started because we needed to service kids who were having trouble making it in a regular classroom.
Russell County is a good team, and so are we. Both teams came out and played a rough game with a lot of loose balls and a lot of girls going after them.
They lack coping skills. They may have emotional baggage, be on probation, or have attendance issues.
It was another nail-biter. The kids dug in. We had some good foul shooting and hung on at the end.
We laugh a lot. I joke around with them. It eases the tension.
