"Keyran William Jack "Bill" Cahill" was a sportsman who played Australian rules football for Essendon Football Club/Essendon in the Australian Football League/Victorian Football League (VFL) during the 1930s and represented Tasmanian Tigers/Tasmania at first-class cricket.

Cahill, a half back, won two Tasman Shields Trophies while at Northern Tasmanian Football Association (1886 - 1986)/Northern Tasmanian Football Association club Launceston Football Club/Launceston, in 1933 and 1936. He struggled in his two seasons at Essendon due to a shoulder injury and returned to Launceston in 1939 where he was appointed captain-coach.

He had earlier made four first-class appearances with Tasmania in the 1931/32 season. One of those was against the touring South African team and he took the only wicket of his career when he dismissed all-rounder Quintin McMillan.

James makes us go. He's the triggerman on offense. He's a basketball junkie, and he plays extremely hard.

It was our best first half of the season. The kids were fired up, and we got a big lift from sophomore Marty Nally.

It's going to be a battle. We know them a little bit. We match up with them well. We're going to go at them, and we'll see what happens.

All we can do is take it one game at a time. We are playing good basketball right now. Our sophomores are giving us a life and our seniors are giving us leadership. We'll be ready for next week.

Guiseppe played his best game of the season.

This team got a lot better near the end of the season, and the effort was always there.

We are playing with confidence. It is clicking right now. We are starting to understand how to control a basketball game, and we are jelling as a team at the right time. It is a nice feeling to see these kids play the way they have.

The kids worked hard. This was a typical game against Rockport. It was scrappy and exciting. Our kids went out there and had fun. They also wanted to win this for the seniors. We played a good second half and ended the season on a high note. We have a great group coming back, so we are excited about the future.

It was a tough game against a real good team. It always seemed like they were one step ahead of us, and we had to struggle all night.
