This was a disappointing loss. We didn't have any luck.

He kind of surprised me. I probably should have come out a little more, but he made a great shot.

Once that buzzer went off I was real happy. A little bit shaky but we're getting down to the Garden and that's all that matters. We knew they were going to throw everything at us and they did.

[It] was kind of a wake up call for our team. It kind of gave us a little grudge coming in here. It forced us to come in here with more of a high-tempo game than we might have if we had just won and rolled through.

It was just unbelievable experience. I am just so happy for seniors they worked so hard. This is what we have worked for all year.

It was more of a learning experience. I've learned tons here. Almost every day in practice you learn something new. I try and get out there first and work on some stuff on my own, do some skating drills on my own.

Coming in, you've got to picture yourself as the No. 1 guy. I think the first weekend of the year I had a good weekend, then we got two big wins against Denver and right off the bat I felt like I belonged.

I can't look at the other goalie, I just got to win the game.

I tried to get him to go short side, high to the glove, but he went blocker side and put it in off the post.
