We got the semifinal, but our goal is to win the tournament. We have to think just of the gold medal. We can get it.
Being that late in the shootout, I didn't feel any pressure. The first three guys have all the pressure to score.
Swedes may have jokes about Finns, but it goes both ways.
Sometimes it's better to be the underdog. Dallas has all the pressure and all the fans expecting them to win in four games probably. We just have to let them have the spotlight and do our job.
I had a lot of travel (Monday) and hopefully it didn't show too much. I got a good sleep (Monday night). I kept my shifts short.
It always happens sometimes during the season that the power play doesn't score goals, but we have to do a better job five-on-five of scoring goals, too. It's not always on the power play and penalty kill. We play a lot of five-on-five hockey out there, too. Hopefully, the power play gets confident and gets going again. That's what we need in this last stretch.
Finland is a small country and Sweden is a little bigger. They are right next to us, and it's a great rivalry. I think it comes naturally. I imagine people in Finland and Sweden are going crazy for the game.
Finland is going to be going crazy.
