We've got a chance to erase that last game (against Gary), but they (Gary) beat us pretty good the last couple of times we've played.

We're feeling good and jelling. We're having fun and playing as a team.

I'm not worried about individual stats. I do what's best for my team and do whatever the team needs. Some nights, someone has got it going (offensively) and I just run the team. Other nights, they may need me to score. Over the course of the year, I just want to win games and get quarter points.

I remember the situation Eldridge was in that year. He blossomed and started helping the team out. He made the game easier (for me). He gave me pointers, the same thing I'm trying to do to our young guys ? show them how to play the right way.

This team plays under control and makes the right reads. We have to be efficient and execute as a team. That's the only way to beat them. We have to play the right way.

We missed his presence on offense and we particularly missed him on the defensive end.

That's what they do ? we knew that coming in ? but they're hard to defend because they do a great job of spacing and sharing the ball. We have to rotate faster (to their shooters) and pre-rotate on the pick and roll. We have to have better discipline on defense.

We didn't shoot well (in the first half) and were still in the game. We just chipped away ? gnawed away at their lead ? and then never looked back.

We've still got a long ways to go. This is just the beginning. The playoffs are where it's at.
