We're still holding out hope and praying for their release.

We were very cognizant of the fact that there are a lot of people being killed over in Iraq every day, and not just foreigners, a lot of Iraqis are being killed. This tragedy that we are feeling is a part of a much larger tragedy.

It's bittersweet, because we are still grieving for Tom, and it's so fresh that it opens wounds a little bit. But that doesn't take away from our joy that the other three men have been released and are safe.

On the one hand, it's nice to see that they're still alive, but obviously, the additional threat is of concern to us.

I think there's a bittersweet element to this in that yes, our friend Tom isn't coming home. But we know Tom is with us and that Tom is overjoyed that these men will be reunited with their families.

I'm not for obesity, I'm not for single parenthood, and I'm not for poverty. But I realize those groups are more likely to be targeted than others.

I'm delighted that there was no violence, and there was no loss of life in their rescue.
