I like things that are not necessarily completely symmetrical ... but if there's a little asymmetry in something, it suddenly moves, your eye catches it, and I think it catches your attention more.

I like the sounds of the frogs at night and the sounds of the birds during the day.

I just love nice things. And I sort of spontaneously put them together.

I always do diamonds, ... ... but I don't do large stones. I try to use non-traditional shapes.

I just love the design, and of course I love the materials. These things are dug out of the earth ... it's so incredible to me that these aren't man-made things. They're beautiful things.

That's my other life. If I wasn't a jewelry designer, I'd be a gardener.

I think to myself, 'What would I like to have if someone were to give me something?' And that's what I do.

The main thing is that it's comfortable and beautiful, ... That's my starting point when I'm thinking, 'Will this work?' .

They're all faded from all the light we have in here, but I kind of like the color they faded to.
