FameRank: 4

"Andrew" ""Freddie"" "Flintoff", is an English people/English professional cricketer who plays for Brisbane Heat. He has also competed as a professional boxing/boxer.

A former England cricket team/England Test cricket/Test international, Flintoff has also played for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian premier league/IPL.

A tall (6' 4") fast bowling/fast bowler, batsman and slip fielder, Flintoff was consistently rated by the ICC as being among the top international allrounders in both ODI and Test cricket. Following his debut in 1998, he became an integral player for England, serving as both captain and vice-captain of the team. However, he suffered regular injuries throughout his international career, often due to his heavy frame and bowling action. During the period 2007–09 he played in only 13 of England's 36 Test matches, but nevertheless remained a core member of the England squad, being selected whenever available.

Alastair scored 60 and a hundred against two of the finest spin bowlers in the world. He had so much composure that he looked like he had played 100 Test matches.

I told all the players last night and they were really happy for me. It's a great feeling. Rachael is out of hospital and doing fine and so is Corey.

I don't think you could have asked for anything more.

There are times when I have felt the pressure, but at the moment I play cricket the only way I can.

The way we played last week, we can take lots of encouragement, but we can't get ahead of ourselves. We can't get clever. If we have the same attitude as last week, we won't go far wrong.

There are a lot of new faces but people see it as an opportunity to put their name on the map and get into the England side. Our team is a young side and we can take a lot of heart out of it. We have not got ahead of ourselves. We have done the simple things correctly, we have not got too clever. I've had a lot of help and I've thoroughly enjoyed it.

Obviously I have had a bit of a hectic game. But I am enjoying it, honestly. I don't feel anymore tired than I would be feeling if I was only batting and bowling.

Despite coming up short today, it sounds like the boys have had an amazing week.
