The books were very important to me as child. I was worried they'd try to modernize it. When I finally agreed to meet them they said they wanted to be really faithful, too.

This is state-of-the-art for right now.

We call it a wardrobe. It's a magic place where children find out that the world is a place of infinite possibilities.

This movie is about forgiveness.

I think we are being very reasonable here.

I actually talked with Peter when I was scouting locations. We stayed up until 2 in the morning.

This is in addition to what you already get.

People will see what they want.

There has been an awfully lot of reality programming in the last 10 years and natural-disaster movies. I do think there’s somewhat of a backlash. People do want to be taken to new worlds. They’re kind of tired of this one and want to go somewhere where they can let their imagination run free a little bit.

It was a relief to hear because I thought Peter had been very faithful to the book.
