This year, each game, we want to go out and give our best. Our goal right now is to finish in the upper half of the conference.

If you drop it, it implies that everything is OK. We don't want to give people a false sense of security.

There's a freshman who Aaron has taken under his wing. He's done an excellent job with him, teaching him the game. In a way, he's kind of taken over the team and made it his own.

How we do this year really depends on our pitching. We can play defensively, and we can score runs. But the thing I'm most concerned with is pitching.
