Defensively I thought we played pretty well. We're going to need to play much better as the schedule reaches the mid-February point, and hopefully our team understands that.

I don't necessarily feel that we need to have it as a conference _ I don't need a conference mug or letterhead with a conference logo. It's getting a competitive schedule, a balanced schedule, and creating some awards and recognition that all players in independent basketball should get.

When Lorenz plays well, their team is difficult to beat. They have very good players around Lorenz, but she's the one who gets them sparked. When she's on, it puts them at ease.

I thought from beginning to end, that was a very complete game. We've had complete games in terms of our intensity and focus before, but we haven't necessarily done it on offense and defense.

It feels good and bad. It's nice to get three wins in a row, but I also felt like in some of the areas, we took a little bit of a step backward tonight.

I thought their defense was very disruptive. That zone does a good job of taking you out of what you're comfortable with.

We are inexperienced, and I think some of that has to do with being young. But I was pleased (Thursday) because I didn't sense that we were inexperienced. The only way you knew that was to look at the roster.
