Olympia Jacobs was dealing with a bad foot and sat out the first three quarters, but came in and really sparked us (in the fourth quarter). We were hoping to get through it without her, but we got into some foul trouble and lost the lead. She only scored three points, but her defensive energy got everyone going.
Duwaine Ganskie
They scored six on really one hard-hit ball, but the rest of them had eyes, and that's baseball. Sometimes those things go your way and sometimes they don't, but I'm certainly proud of our effort and the way we're continuing to battle this late in the season.
Scottie Sanchez
We had an interception on our third offensive play, and they scored one play later. The first play after that, we fumbled, and they ended up with the ball in the end zone. We were just our own worst enemy.
Mike Hennessey
I thought Patrick pitched well and I thought we did a good job getting out of that inning with only three runs scored.
Jimmy Lawler
It was my second cap and I scored and we won that particular game. It was a fantastic night for me.
