I can feel when I'm doing it right and it feels great, ... It's a matter of repeating it over and over again. It gave me a glimpse of what's there, and that's something for me to get excited about.

I want to keep the ball down and keep it on the ground.

We spent most of the night trying to control the water from damaging our room.

He didn't want to overwhelm me with a bunch of stuff, ... But I picked his brain and said, 'I don't care if you overwhelm me. I've got a lot of stuff to work on and the last month and all off-season to work on it and want to get right.' .

I was getting forward before I ever had the ball out, so I was late getting out of the glove, ... I was carrying the ball too long and then I had to hurry everything up.

It's nice to be able to know game by game that I'm feeling what I want to be able to feel.

I can see light at the end of the tunnel as far as getting up there again. For me, the key is to get everything straightened out mechanically. I believe in my stuff, but I've got work to do to get right, and be able to command the strike zone.

Everybody looks for an organization that has confidence in you, and it's been nice to be able to come here, ... It's nice they gave me the chance to work with 'Mac' down here. I feel like I'm getting close.

As far as getting groundballs, you are always one pitch away from getting two outs.
