When I get in a game, I don't know what I'm going to do, ... I may cry. I may not cry. I don't know. ... I just want to get somebody out before I leave the game.

I feel good telling one of the young guys something and he does it and it works, ... It's like when I came up [with the White Sox]. Guys helped me out. Charlie Hough. Jack McDowell. Carlton Fisk. Robin Ventura. Now it's my turn to help them out so they have a long career.

Letting it go a little bit.

I felt fine but I want to know how I feel in the next couple days.

I'm here trying to do it one more time. I'm doing it for my kids. I'm doing it for my wife. I'm doing it for my teammates. So they can all say you've still got it.
