I figured we'd be a little tight early. We were getting the shots, they just weren't falling. We came out better in the second half.
I knew that we had some talented young kids. We played well this summer against most teams, so I figured we would (be okay). I just didn't know we would do this well.
We play with a lot of defensive pressure every game. There are going to be times where you aren't going to be up. Unfortunately, we weren't up in the first half.
I think we had way too many turnovers and gave up way too many offensive rebounds. I talked to them (at halftime) about eliminating the turnovers and blocking out.
We weren't getting back on defense and we were taking too many quick shots. We'd make one pass and then shoot. We needed to work the ball around.
It's tough to go undefeated. We're still one game up in the region, but you feel bad losing any region game.
