The kids talk a lot about the electric atmosphere when we play at home. It should be a great football game come Friday.

Our young guys are still learning. They grew up a lot tonight by playing most of the fourth quarter.

We got to play a lot of people, including our 20 freshmen, and they held their own. They usually run the other team's plays in practice, so they are still picking up what we run.

Defensively, we did a good job with adjustments in the second half. Offensively, we have enough speed to hurt people. We are also pretty big up front, but they never contained Marco tonight.

We set the tone quickly tonight. We came out ready and very focused.

George had the big kickoff return, and then he stuck it in the end zone. It just seemed like he wanted the ball. He's done a great job.

He tweaked his knee, but we think he is going to be OK. Roderick is a very important leader for us.

We ran the two-minute drill great, but we didn't make a good decision on the goal line. Cam is still getting better at quarterback though, and I feel like our team is still improving.

Perry County will be physical. They will probably run the veer, and any Rick Rice team will be competitive.
