I think it's an uphill battle all the way.

Louisiana is undergoing a moment of revision and hopefully reconstruction, and by Friday, we will know what the shape of things will be.

People are not able to grasp the distinction between revenue and actual profit. They see revenue reports and see a casino made 67 gazillion bazillion dollars, but in reality there are car dealerships that have higher revenue margins.

Without question, Mississippi is going to come back stronger than it was before. It's a proven market, it's a friendly tax rate, and any company that has the means to go back, has to go back. We were at a disadvantage from a marketing standpoint before. This will widen that gap.

I'm not sure this is the right tool for the situation. If you're not supporting the industry that you have, why would you think the state would support an expansion of that industry?
