What you hope is everybody throws well, and let them make the decision. I wanted to throw as well as I can and I wasn't thinking about anything else.

I think I pitched a lot better than the numbers would indicate. I went out there and had a little bad luck, poor run support and my record happened. I'm looking forward to putting that behind me and taking a new approach with this team.

This is what I'm always trying to do. It's taken three games this year to do it, but I always try to be aggressive, pound the strike zone and use the eight other fielders.

That one wasn't bad. It was in on his hands, where I wanted it. But he's a good hitter.

I didn't put any extra pressure on myself or anything like that. I knew it was going to be a close game so I had to give my team the best chance that I could to stay in the ball game.

I really don't think about stuff like that. I just want to go out and pitch and do the best I can regardless of the situation. It's easier for me that way. I don't think about anything else when I'm out there.
