James heated up in the second half, but we couldn't get the defensive stops to go with the offense. Their zone caused us fits for three quarters. We just never caught a break and couldn't get the momentum turned in our favor.

We had a few struggles here and there. We competed when we had to. Going 10-0 in the league is nice. It was definitely one of our goals.

Abilene made some shots. They played extremely hard. They fouled to lengthen the game and to see if we'd make free throws. When we missed a few they just kept going.

The players never quit playing. They worked hard. Smoky just had a little more left on Saturday night.

I thought we played OK. I thought we came out with a lot of energy. I thought defensively we had a quite a few breakdowns and we got into Abilene's helter-skelter game.

Smoky Valley dictated the style of the game. We missed open looks and maybe the pressure got to us a little.
