I just wasn't going to back down. I was going to be aggressive.

Our offense was in sync in the second quarter. We were passing the ball well and moving it down the court quickly. I think a lot of our success happened because we were moving fast enough to keep them from getting set.

We spent a lot of time in practice learning who he was. So we were ready for him every time he got the ball.

As a captain, I knew coming out of the locker room that I had to step up. Coach Taylor has a lot of confidence in us, and he told us to go out and play with confidence in ourselves.

It came down to execution. We did not execute when we had the chance. Free throws and lay-ups are something we practice every day. But we didn't execute when we had the chance, and that made all the difference tonight.

We were 9-17 my sophomore year. We made a vow to turn this program around. This year our goal was 20 wins. We were able to surpass that, and I'm pretty proud of that.
