"Troy James Smith" is an American football quarterback who is currently a free agent. He played college football for The Ohio State University, was recognized as an All-American, and won the Heisman Trophy in 2006. He was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL Draft, and has also played for the NFL's San Francisco 49ers and the United Football League (2009–12)/UFL's Omaha Nighthawks. On August 14, 2013, Smith signed a two-year contract with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. He was released October 16, 2014.
