I had never heard of Columbus Grove. After I got directions, I found out it was west. I had figured it was down by Columbus.

I don't have any doubt who he's rooting for. Blood is thicker than water.

We came out firing. It seemed like every shot we took was going in. Eventually the percentages are going to catch up with you. That's where you pound it inside and get to the free throw line.

When you talk about basketball in northwest Ohio, in Putnam County . . . I imagine it?s a lot like Indiana high-school basketball. I don?t know if you could find many counties in Ohio that have had six teams make it to the state finals in any sport.

It's just a lot of things to worry about. We've basically got two young guys that average 20 points. The thing about it is I feel we've got other guys that compliment them well.

I grew up watching them play and beat teams they didn't have a chance in beating, and that's a testament to their program. Fourteen-and-six is a down year for them. They've got a great tradition there.
