The way she handles her life outside of basketball, the way she keeps herself in shape and has a clean lifestyle, she's very much a role model to these young ladies. She's always got a bubbly personality. She's always upbeat. She's a tough person in and around the basket. She's always competing. I'm just glad that she's there with us.

Their pressure really got to us. I didn't think we would have that much of a problem with it. We did not see the open person. The ball was going to the wrong person, and it really affected us.

Allison played great. They didn't handle her. She got the ball in the basket for us. She's getting better defensively. Two games in a row now she has gotten better in that area.

It's just too many points for us to be able to handle. We scored well in the first half, but we just gave up way too many in the basketball game.

(Marquardt-King) is one of the premier players, maybe in the country, I know she's one of the premier players in the league. I think she's probably one of the top 10 players in the county also. She just attracts so much attention and was still able to get her points.

If every one of my players could be like her, I'd be very happy. She comes to practice every day, plays hard and does what the coaches ask of her. I can't say enough about that.

We might get some (good) shots against Wayne State. But those four need to shoot the ball well for us.

I just told them to miss the free throw. I didn't want any flukes to happen.
