Plus we're not going to have that same unity we had in high school. Now it's just Cord and Patch and Trent and Louie-and Jeremy's off on his own. It's tough but we need to make those friendships again, that's the only way to win.

We'd definitely play for that-the Barron County Chargers or something like that. We're small-town boys, we're family, so we'd love to keep playing together.

One of Louie's goals was to get 1,000 yards and he got 1,800. He almost doubled his goal and he broke the school record.

Hey, at our 10-year reunion, maybe we should suit up and play one more time.

That was valuable because we got together earlier and faced some tough competition. That early playing time gave us some confidence that I think we tapped into later in the year.

As much as it hurt to lose that last game, it was nice to have a home game for the playoffs for the first time in school history. There's no regrets.

Louie's the most unselfish back I've ever met.
