I'll talk to the kid when he gets here, and we'll have some direction at some point.

I feel like we've had good starts in just about every game we've played. Our defense has been excellent. We're very proud to be the only team in minor league baseball to still have a perfect fielding percentage.

He has a tremendous package of power. He's a kid who looks in place at no matter [what position] we put him.

His stuff's good. His composure is good. And his demeanor seems to fit the role.

It was real close to being perfect. The fact that we don't have as many prospects tells you that many have moved on.

He's freaky strong. Third basemen -- and third base coaches -- tend to play deep on him.

My opening day lineup has as many prospects as anybody in baseball, probably more.

We've had a hard time putting away teams. It wasn't a great offensive night, but it was good enough. At this time of year, you win or lose . . . there are no moral victories.

When he is a bit more efficient, the strength will be there and the results will take over. The guy has as much power as anybody in baseball.
