"Torquato Tasso" was an Italy/Italian poet of the 16th century, best known for his poem La Gerusalemme liberata (Jerusalem Delivered, 1581 in literature/1581), in which he depicts a highly imaginative version of the combats between Christians and Muslims at the end of the First Crusade, during the siege of Jerusalem (1099)/siege of Jerusalem. He suffered from mental illness and died a few days before he was due to be Poet laureate/crowned as the king of poets by Clement VIII/the Pope. Until the beginning of the 20th century, Tasso remained one of the most widely read poets in Europe.

True love cannot be found where it does not exist, nor can it be denied where it does.

Love is when he gives you a piece of your soul, that you never knew was missing.

Love is when you don't have to be with another person to touch their heart!

The day of fortune is like a harvest day, We must be busy when the corn is ripe.

Fortune rarely accompanies anyone to the door.

Any time not spent on love is wasted.
