They're outstanding. They're just deadly. They pass the puck and skate well. You can't give them an inch because they'll take a mile and rip it right into the net.
We passed very well throughout and we communicated well.
Marshall put a lot of pressure on us. We had a tough time getting it out of our zone. We did have a couple opportunities, but we didn't finish around the net.
It's been key for us all year to score early and get our kids going. Last year you could tell in the locker room we were kind of looking around, not sure what to do. This year we're more confident.
He just came around, played good position and controlled our defensive squad back there.
When it was 2-0 and we had some opportunities to make it 2-1, that could have been big for us. When they scored their third goal, and then their fourth goal right after that, it took a lot of wind out of our sails.
I told our guys that they need to have a little confidence in themselves. Our penalty kill sucked and our power play was awful. We need to pick it up.
All of a sudden, it's a ballgame.
