He probably moves at a faster pace in terms of change than what we had traditionally done before. He's not afraid to make changes.

The Penn State family wants to be actively involved in helping the people of the Gulf Coast. Many people have contacted us and we expect a good response from our loyal fans.

Bob was a very special person who was caring, very considerate and had a great sense of humor. His efforts with the Coaches vs. Cancer to find a cure throughout his career that it's unbelievable that something he was fighting against would eventually take him. He will be greatly missed by Penn State and the State College community.

Our focus is 100 percent on this season ... I hope he coaches for a long time.

He didn't really allow any of that other stuff to impact him in any way. He knew what he had.

I've considered Bob a long-time friend and have known him since he was in high school and followed his career on the Penn State baseball team.

We gave him a contract extension. Certainly that speaks volumes about what we think about our program and his continuous leadership.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Kevin's family and friends.
