We wanted to try keeping Sturgis off balance as much as possible. We knew they were shooting the ball really well the last couple of games.

We gave them an easy basket and you can't do that.

I wondered for quite awhile if a shot would fall. Defensively, we were good enough, but we were tentative out of the gate offensively. We didn't attack as well as I would like from the start.

We have some good guards and also some good post players. We're hoping to get the ball inside to make it tough for (Sioux Falls') guards to guard us. Hopefully they'll have to double down.

They're very quick and we started to get a little tired. When we let (Tyler Schulte) penetrate into the lane, we couldn't stop them. And Coleman had a great second half. He put them over the top.

Free throws were really important in a nip-and-tuck game like this. We made just enough to survive.

I thought we were tentative and they came out ready to go. They played to their level.

We went to a zone defense to begin with and that messed our kids up. They weren't talking as much as they should have. We went straight man (defense) and we got them to turn the ball over.

We've seen them on tape, but it's hard to know how quick they (Knights) are until you see them play. We gave them too many easy points in the paint.
