If Congress had really wanted to revoke habeas jurisdiction over pending cases, it would have said so.

It is clear that the government has ended the hunger strike through the use of force and through the most brutal and inhumane types of treatment. It is a disgrace.

The little old lady in Switzerland who by mistake had given a contribution to someone she didn't know to an orphanage in Afghanistan, could be picked up by the United States as an enemy combatant. That's really a shocking thing.

That's what stopped the hunger strike. They purposely force-fed these people to end the strike.

It would be very nice if they paid the people released at least as much as they paid the bounty hunters for capturing them.

The government is not doing things to keep them alive. It is really conducting tactics to deprive them of the ability to be on hunger strike because the hunger strike is an embarrassment to them.
