The Beatles
FameRank: 9

"The Beatles" were an English Rock music/rock band that formed in Liverpool in 1960. With members John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, they became widely regarded as the greatest and most influential act of the rock era. Rooted in skiffle, beat music/beat and 1950s rock and roll, the Beatles later experimented with several music genre/genres, ranging from Pop music/pop ballads and Music of India/Indian music to psychedelic rock/psychedelic and hard rock, often incorporating classical music/classical elements in innovative ways. In the early 1960s, their enormous popularity first emerged as "Beatlemania", but as their songwriting grew in sophistication they came to be perceived as an embodiment of the ideals shared by the Counterculture of the 1960s/era's sociocultural revolutions.

Life is very short and there's no time, for fussing and fighting my friend. I have always thought that it's a crime, so I will ask you once again: try to see it my way, only time will tell if I am right or I am wrong. While you see it your way, there's a chance that we might fall apart before too long. We can work it out.

Who knows how long I've loved you, you know I love you still. Will I wait a lonely lifetime? If you want me to I will.

Yesterday our troubles seemed so far away, I believe in yesterday.

For I don't care too much for money, / For money can't buy me love.

Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.

All the lonely people, where do they all come from? / All the lonely people, where do they all belong?

But tomorrow may rain, so I'll follow the sun.
