They (GAC) took us too lightly right away. I think after the first period they realized they needed to start playing much harder to beat us.

Melissa did a great job of finishing, but her three goals were not individual efforts. This game was a total team effort.

In both games, we had to come from behind in order to win. The team continued to play together and responded to a couple systematic changes that needed to be made as a result of what they (St. Olaf) were doing in the ice.

At the beginning (of the season), I fully expected to make playoffs, but as the season progressed and I saw how much every team within our conference had improved, I was not sure that was going to happen. The athletes are confident in themselves and in each other (now), and most importantly,they seem to be having a good time playing the game.

We played well. This was one of those games where everyone played well.

I'm proud of the way this team worked. They never got down and really hung together. They deserved to be in the position they are in.
