I think companies are getting better and the law provided for it for consumers to make it easier. In the past, it was horrendous. People would have to wait months and months to get their rebates.

There are a whole slew of reasons why someone should get travel insurance, but you need to research and find out what's the best insurance for you. You can do that. You don't have to buy it from the travel agent. They do get commission on it, so they're going to push for it. So do your homework.
