Most of the styles were captured through associations with hair salons. We also went to a lot of hairdressing competitions. We just set up a booth at the comps and took photos all day for an entire month of weekends.

The trick for us is getting all the styles right. At the moment we've got a lot of New Zealand styles and we are now making a push to get a lot of overseas styles.
