I couldn't stop crying. It's so big for him, for the team, for the curling club, for the province of Newfoundland and for the sport of curling and for Canada. It's huge. It's so important for the growth of the sport.

I haven't seen him in over a month, and of course my parents are over in Europe, so it's a little different not having them here. Coming out of juniors, they were always there for me, but I understand, too. There's something bigger going on over there. So it's OK.
