Maybe we were a bit fortunate to get the three points, but you take what you get, and it's what we came for.

I chose the right way and was happy to get it around the post. It was a very important save. We didn't play that great tonight, especially in the first half. We gave away the ball too many times.

I was due to save one (a penalty). It's been a while since I saved one. It was nice to save one tonight in a crucial game and it meant a lot - it was important to keep a clean sheet.

There will be a big gap and it seems strange to think he will never play again. I have found it emotional so I don't know how he will be feeling. There is life after Alan Shearer but it will be difficult to fill the void.

It kind of summed up our day.

I felt people back home should have got behind him and the team, and only after then had their opinion.

It's not up to us. We can only do what we've done so far under Glenn. It's down to the chairman and the board but he's done a good job though you'd probably have to ask Glenn if he wants the job as well.

It was one of those days, and no disrespect, but we should be coming to places like Wigan and getting three points.
