We're used to being there. But this team is something new. I'm proud of the girls.
The girls got tired of people saying they were just a 5A team. But the thing about it is, South Broward has always played 6A teams. We always played the best. But now, we wanted to make a statement.
Take a look at successful programs who win year after year and you will see a team that uses its entire roster. That's how programs sustain a championship level for many years.
It's going to be exciting and something new for most of these girls. But I'm glad tonight is over. We had to play through 32 minutes of pressure.
