I'm delighted to be joining Newcastle, ... As soon as Chelsea made it clear they were prepared to let me leave, I was keen on this move.

It's disappointing to hear things like that.

We aren't a sports bar, and we have no desire to be, but it should be fun.

It's a matter of convenience, but we would be happy to pay for it as well. It would just come out of our regular budget.

I looked at the sending off and I did get a little touch on him.

It's frustrating for me because I'll miss the Blackburn game. I want to help the club turn the corner.

I had him as a young player at Southampton, he was a left winger there, but modern full-backs are really wingers. You'd have to ask the chairman if there's money in the kitty for further signings.

He knows what happened here, ... He's been here. But he's just the middle man. Congress has the say-so.

From the minute I came here, there were injuries and we didn't get off to the best of starts. The manager came under a bit of stress but he has signed some really good players, massive ones like Michael Owen.
