It's the first time I stayed in a five-star hotel and flew on a chartered plane. But I could have stayed in a Super 8 (motel) and been happy. I had a great time.

When he hit that ball, it was a batting-practice fastball over the plate and he hit it on the screws. It went to the furthest part of the park.

I didn't see that. I was following the ball. I knew the ball wasn't carrying great out there.

It scared me. But an out's an out, no matter how far it goes.

This is an amazing opportunity for me. I would love the chance to pitch against guys like (Derek) Jeter, A-Rod (Alex Rodriguez) and (Ken) Griffey.

It helps with the experience, and it helps to pitch against hitters like that.

He got me good. Just not good enough.

An out's an out. It doesn't matter how far it goes.
