I wanted fast race and if it wasn't fast enough I was prepared to take the lead, but as it turned out I was happy to sit behind the pace. I was on the rail and got boxed in for most of the way and keep my wits about me and wait for the time to come to get out of there.
She has a great character and I regard her as one of the most committed athletes I've ever seen. I was so devastated for her and she was robbed (by injury) just when she hit form.
I take her around to the local lakes and watering holes. She gets right in.
