We have come here today ... black, white, young, old -- people from all walks of life -- to say to the world that we love the life and we revere the life of Martin Luther King Jr. And we thank God that he passed this way.

He demonstrated that nonviolence is a way to effect change, ... He lived under constant threat of harassment ... and he paid the ultimate price -- death -- so that we may have life and have it more abundantly.

The nation cannot navigate with an impaired sense of hearing.

Those who persist in accusing the school of criminal and evil conduct are turning their backs on the facts.

I believe that the death tax is politically misguided, morally unjustifiable and downright un-American.
