"Samuel "Sammy" Morris III" is a former American football running back in the National Football League. He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the fifth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He played college football at Texas Tech Red Raiders football/Texas Tech.

He also played for the Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots and the Dallas Cowboys.

In 2013, he joined Attleboro High School football as an assistant coach.

We take a lot of pride in what we do. Most fans don't pay attention to what we do, but there's a lot of hidden yardage as far as coverage units. People say you have to be a little crazy, a little off to play special teams anyways. We have 11 guys that are crazy.

The thing I admire about Ricky is that Ricky is going to be Ricky, regardless of what people think about him. That's not real common in society. People change who they are to try to fit in. Ricky doesn't really care what people think. I admire that.

Personally, I don't think the team was teetering on whether (Williams) apologized or not. Rick just wanted to say something, and the team was able to respect that.

That was a bad one. It can definitely have an effect on a defensive player. If you get your face thrown in the dirt in the open field, I definitely think that's in the back of their mind. It's a frustrating thing.
