We did a lot of things wrong last year. Really, we didn't know what we were doing. We're on the bus to go to the tournament and remembering something that we didn't do, a detail we forgot to take care of.

He's our No.1 option. We just get him the ball and get out of his way.

This team did an excellent job trying to take us out of what we do well. They changed up defenses and kept us guessing. But we know (today's final) is going to be much more physical.

It just shows you don't have to win a district championship to win a state title. We played a tough schedule this year and took our losses and learned from them.

These guys never panicked. Even when they were down, they never did panic. We knew we could come out and play.

He had to learn how to be a selfless player. He had no structure in the past, so he was pretty raw. He went through some growing pains, but he's just getting better and better now.

It was a great season, and we really played like a team. When you lose like that, it hurts for a long time. But when you win like that, it gets you ready for the next season. We've been there before.

We have kids that need to be in that situation (against a tougher opponent). They haven't been battle-tested, and there's not a better team that could do that than one like (Wheeler) who has been there, too.

They missed a few free throws late to keep us in it. But it was hard to lose Mike at that point.
