Gas prices will definitely hit $3 a gallon. I'd say in the next couple of weeks.

I think we are definitely going to see $3 a gallon during the peak driving season. Crude is almost at $70 a barrel in the New York Commodity Exchange. That's where the problem lies.

I don't think price gouging is going on here.

Drive-offs are a growing concern because if you have one drive-off with a full tank, a retailer would have to sell 500 gallons of gas to pay for it. Oftentimes, gas station owners end up paying to cover for the drive-offs.

These steps will help, but it won't help (stop) $3-a-gallon gasoline.
