Algona faces the same problem as everyone else - declining enrollment. We have to look at how to keep, maintain - and expand - programs and quality while looking at a declining budget. Everyone is struggling with that problem.

This is a very friendly town. Every visit, every conversation I've had since applying for the position has made me feel like this is absolutely the right decision.

I'm anxious to move closer to my family and parents. An opportunity like the one in Algona doesn't come around very often, and I'm very pleased to be offered the opportunity to serve the Algona community.
