"Rory Brian Fitzpatrick" is a United States/American former professional ice hockey Defenceman/defenseman who played 10 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, Nashville Predators, Buffalo Sabres, Vancouver Canucks and Philadelphia Flyers. He was known as a Journeyman (sports)/journeyman depth player at the NHL level. He currently serves as the head coach of the Buffalo Jr. Sabres 12 and under squad.

It was terrible. I just remember the floor being so wet. You had to put a towel down to stay dry when you got out of your clothes. Your equipment hung on little hooks instead of in a stall. It definitely made you uncomfortable as a visitor. You weren't pampered at all.

I felt good. I think I've been able to stay in shape, watch the series closely, so I felt pretty capable (about stepping in).

I got a chance. I got confidence from them that I could play. That's the biggest change, getting that confidence and having someone who believes in you.

Playoffs are always a big jump. I've been through it at different levels and in the NHL.
