Crude oil is staying near $70 a barrel right now. With all of the unrest in the Middle East and the new threats with Iran, all these things just keep gas prices high.

All signs point to additional increases during the spring and summer.

Fuel prices have become particularly unstable in the past few weeks. Worries about the security of crude oil supplies are pushing prices up while growing domestic inventories of domestic crude oil and refined products are pushing prices down.

The situation is likely to get worse as we move into warmer weather and people drive more. There doesn't seem to be anything on the horizon that would suggest prices will come down.

You don't have to be happy about it but just know that other places are feeling the pain much worse than we are.
